Microsoft Servers

MICROSOFT small business servers provide reliable email, file storage, network security and remote access services. Excellent Software implements and supports Microsoft servers as a ‘turnkey’ solution supported from our offices in Auckland. By standardising our Microsoft implementations and monitoring server health we provide our clients with excellent reliability and value.

Inter-Branch Networking

Our larger clients have up to 25 sites linked to a single server reducing the cost of on site support by the need to supply and support databases in each store.  Store technology can be as simple as a ‘thin client’ computer and a laser printer removing the need for onsite support contracts and services.

Hosted Servers

Increasingly we are hosting servers removing the need for clients to provide a temperature controlled, secure environment for their servers. Hosted services include nightly backups dual fibre internet connections and multiple backup generators.

RETAIL-PLUS Servers

Our retail management servers are designed first and foremost, for reliability and speed at the point of sale. Using the same Linux technology as 60% of the world’s internet servers the RETAIL-PLUS database runs exceptionally fast on standard server hardware and automates most of the daily, weekly and monthly processes.  Our servers report back to us any errors and are automatically updated with the latest programs from our office in Auckland.

Door Counters

Our innovative people counting solution makes hourly customer conversion ratios possible.  People are counted as they pass through the door with couples being treated as a 'single opportunity'.  A central server collects the data and integrates it with the store reporting.
